The
Beaches Crime Watch Group is investigating the possibility of
putting recording cameras at strategic spots around the area.
There
have been a number of suggestions and one of the ideas was that
Taylor County could possibly add a special assessment tax for
the purpose of crime control. It is very important that we voice
our opinions on this and other ideas to improve and protect our
area. Please e-mail the Beach Crime Watch at beachcrimewatch@live.com
(or click here)
your opinions on a special assessment being added as a non-ad
valorem tax for the purpose of anti-crime. Shawna Beach, the chief
organizer of Beach Crime watch, will compile the information and
we will discuss it at our next meeting. The identity of each participant
will remain anonymous. Thank you for your participation so
that we may better our community."
