for quiet living or the perfect Sportsman's getaway.
For
those that demand the best, imagine developing this Island as
a fishing/hunting lodge for expeditions that cannot be compared
to anything else in Florida.
The
Island is just north of Cedar Key, about a 20 minute boat ride
from the public launch. The easiest access, however, is by leaving
from the Shell Mound Camp Ground, which is a 10 minute boat
ride to the island. Clark Island is also accessible from the
town of Suwannee out the mouth of the Suwannee River.
The
current owner uses an airboat so that he can make the trip at
any tide, although it is accessible by regular boat except at
low tide.
